Meet Skisens at Vasaloppet – Discover Our New Real-Time Ski Power Technology

We are excited to announce that Skisens will meet you at the Vasaloppet expo in Mora, where we will showcase several exciting new innovations.

Introducing our new slim race-optimized ski pole handle

After years of development, we are launching our new streamlined ski pole handle, where we have fully optimized both electronics and sensors. We are now down to dimensions comparable to a standard racing handle. The new handle also includes entirely new software that enables real-time sharing of all data. When you train, your coach or friend can follow every single pole plant — no matter where you both are.

Real-time power measurement for cross-country skiing

When we started Skisens, our main goal was to measure power to give skiers the same tools that cyclists have relied on for years. We have now reached that milestone and can offer true real-time power measurement. Along the way, we also discovered something even more powerful. The force measurement at the heart of our power meter is an exceptional tool for technique analysis.

The pole force graph — and how it varies with speed and terrain — reveals whether you move correctly with your body and poles, and whether you are fully driving through each double-poling stroke.

Technique insights on every training session — without needing video

The pole force graph gives you the same insights that an experienced ski coach gets from a technique video. The key advantage is that we can be with you on every session. In reality, it’s rare to have someone film your technique regularly. With our new software, you can track ground contact time, impulse, and frequency in real time — all adapting instantly to terrain and speed.

Live demonstrations at Vasaloppet together with Träningspartner

At Vasaloppet, we will share a booth with Träningspartner (www.traningspartner.se). On their Abilica roller-ski treadmill, we will demonstrate the full range of possibilities our new products and services offer — including technique analysis, force curves, real-time power, and live data sharing.

We look forward to meeting you at Vasaloppet!
